Woodstock Film Festival [2021]


            In this group project, my team of 5 people rebranded the Woodstock Film Festival, an American film festival that was launched in 2000 with the goal to bring high quality independent film to the Hudson Valley region. We are randomly assigned the theme of “psychedelic” as the style of this rebranding.
           We used the analogue approach to solve this design problem and created an array of vibrant patterns to represent the theme. The carefully chosen typography also reflect the nature of this film festival. We based the project on a flexible grid system that can be applied both on print and digital design assets.

           在这个小组作业中,我们5位组员为以推广独立电影为宗旨的伍德斯托克电影节打造了新的品牌形象。我们组被随机分配到了“迷幻风“作为此次品牌重塑的视觉风格。我们扫描了用颜料绘制的一系列花纹及中心对称和轴对称的重复排版来构建一个充满活力的迷幻电影世界。整个品牌视觉体系基于一个灵活的网格系统,可以同时应用于印刷和电子广告的设计。
